We were 10 years old when Larry moved into our neighborhood. Our meeting was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. When Larry told me his dad, Bill, was in a Veterans Home in Missouri teaching my parents story during the Holocaust, I knew I had to do something. We had both promised our fathers that we would never forget and share this story whenever we could. It was then that “A Promise To Our Fathers” became more that a promise.
